A month ago I had the pleasure of taking five people on a yoga retreat to Goolwa Beach, south of Adelaide. I was just reviewing the feedback I received from the participants at the end of the retreat and thought I'd share some of their reflections with you.

Leah is an amazing host for the retreat who seamlessly goes through her program each day without fuss and has a wealth of knowledge about yoga as well as all things health related.

I have really enjoyed the scheduling; a perfect balance of active time and conscious rest time which I found to be beneficial in terms of checking with myself/my body both physically and emotionally.

Pace and number of activities and level of challenge was perfect for what I needed. Food was delicious and I really liked that the weekend built/developed over time – and your explanations around this were very helpful/supportive.

Enjoyed the food – things I wouldn’t normally eat so it was good to be open to new things – I also realise it is part of the whole picture about yoga and health.

There was just the right amount of yoga and I found the sessions to be quite strong and dynamic.

The company and other participants were wonderful and made the weekend so enjoyable.
